Glasgow is once again looking forward to welcoming the BSPD Annual Scientific Conference in September 2027.

Many of you will remember the hugely successful congress in 2015 when BSPD hosted the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD).

Our conference will take place over 2-3days at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Argyle Street on Wednesday 29 September (Teachers’ Study Day) prior to the main conference on Thursday 30 September and Friday 1 October.

The conference brings together the paediatric dentistry professionals who work in Hospitals, Universities, the Community Dental Service and in General Dental Practice for three days of education, collaboration, networking and innovation.

The conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine remind us of the profound privilege and the responsibility we have in caring for children and young people. BSPD is not merely an  institution. It is a true community with fellowship of minds and hearts united by a common purpose and ‘dedicated to improve the oral health of children in the UK.’

Under the innovative themes of “Thriving, Striving, Surviving” we will be exploring the challenges, opportunities and changing landscape of paediatric dentistry in the UK and internationally. We will have the opportunity to share ideas and discover new approaches, as we look towards the future as a specialty.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Glasgow.
